"Huge Holiday Blowout Sale" Campaign

THE BRIEF

Working with the Fitness Town team, we were tasked to produce the creative concept for a winter campaign to support sales over the holidays. It needed to promote Fitness Town’s large range of premium brands, which would be discounted during the sale.

THE OBJECTIVES
  • Support brand awareness
  • Generate customer traffic to stores and website
  • Generate sales interest with a sense of urgency
  • Create campaign material that could be re-purposed annually during the holidays
OUR STRATEGY + APPROACH

The client titled the campaign the “Huge Holiday Blowout Sale”. We wanted the visual aesthetic to match the content, so we utilized 3D typography to do so. The weight and perspective of the headline “Huge Holiday Blowout Sale” made the copy stand out. The creative avoided any explicit holiday symbols but maintained a festive winter appearance. The newly illustrated brand pattern used as a background element subtly showcases the brand’s range of fitness equipment.

THE RESULTS

The campaign was successfully distributed through various digital and outdoor advertising platforms, including web, social media, outdoor billboards, search marketing, external signage, e-communications, and more.

"Spring Into Shape" Campaign

THE BRIEF

Working with the Fitness Town team, we were tasked to produce the creative concept for a spring campaign to support sales leading into the summer season. It needed to encourage customers to take advantage of savings on the brand’s premium equipment in order to get moving and get into shape. Visually, we needed to design a fresh feel that stood apart from the generic “Spring” stock imagery that competitors use.

  • Generate sales interest with a sense of urgency
  • Inspire and motivate audience to live a healthy lifestyle
OUR STRATEGY + APPROACH

The client titled the campaign “Spring Into Shape”. The main message we wanted to get across was that staying active in little ways and keeping moving can spring people into shape – whatever that means to them – and that Fitness Town could help with that.

To creatively communicate this message, our visual strategy was to showcase movement and exercise in a modern way. Focusing on the typography of the word “shape”, we illustrated different elements of the process of working out (such as getting your heart racing or breaking a sweat).

The campaign was successfully distributed through various platforms, including web, social media, search marketing, window signage, e-communications, and more.

WHAT OUR CLIENT HAS TO SAY

The work REX produces is visually stunning, connects with our clients (both current and potential), and, quite frankly, they have a unique view on what is in line with our brand – they know our brand better than we do!

In working with REX, we get to meet and work with the designer/project manager directly. They have our best interests in mind. Other agencies often contract out the “jobs” and at times this causes a great deal of stress as response/revision time takes WAY too long. At the end of the day, I value being able to deal direct.

No matter what, I feel 120% confident in the direction that REX leads us.
